Blacksmith & Fitter Job Opportunity in Denmark On behalf of our client, Skill Bridge is looking for skilled blacksmiths and fitters with welding experience for full-time, long-term projects in Denmark.

 

Job Details:

  • The work primarily involves assembling, disassembling, and fitting steel structures in a fabrication area (pharmacy production).
  • Tasks include working on pipe bridges and other large steel structures.
  • Welding will not be the main task, but it will be required occasionally.
  • All necessary equipment, tools, and protective clothing will be provided.

 

Required Welding Certifications:

  • Welding certificates: 111, 135, 136, 141 (Mandatory)
  • ISO 9606-1 (International welding qualification)
  • Must have completed a mandatory safety course (we can assist in arranging this before startup).

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, disassemble, and fit steel structures such as pipe bridges in a fabrication area.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Operate tools and machinery required for steel fitting and assembly.
  • Perform occasional welding operations according to required standards (111, 135, 136, 141).
  • Ensure all structures and welds meet quality and safety standards.
  • Inspect finished work for defects and ensure proper dimensions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in blacksmithing, metalwork, steel fitting, and welding.
  • Experience with assembling/disassembling and fitting large steel structures.
  • Knowledge of welding standards (111, 135, 136, 141).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality consciousness.
  • English skills: medium level required.
  • Foreign welding certification (which must be approved by AT in Denmark, a process that can take up to 2 months).
